Interests: I like to read. I also like to cook, yet I can't cook much. I like being outdoors, except when it's really hot in Delano. Bright and colorful flowers catch my eyes. I pull up my shades to let the light come in. I like to eat just cooked rice. I like my food warm, never cold. Unless it has to be. I like to drive with a full tank of gas. I like to receive little gifts now and then. I also like to give. But that happens rarely cos I'm broke and non-creative like other people I know. I like the smell of Ed's tommy hilfiger lotion. I like to wear evening dresses. Especially to events when people don't look at you weird for wearing it. I like to bake cookies but harldy eating 'em. Coconut ice cream is my favorite. I LOVE my darling Ed. He doesn't like me because I'm NOT dumb. lol jk. I like getting mail and finding some are for me. I use to enjoy rollerblading. And I'm going to recover that enjoyment one of these days. I like to drink coconut juice. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone.

So an update, maybe?

It's been awhile since I've been on here and I kind of miss it. So here I am back again to vent out most of my highs and lows hoping that no one would mind. It's kind of like my private journal I keep except with Xanga it can keep just about everything my mind can think of. My fingers hurt from catching up with my mind. But whatever. Anyways, I want to type. I have to leave for work in a couple of minutes. So I should make the most of it.

Since I mentioned work first, I'll start off there.

WORK. I've had my highs and lows at work. One day I'm smiling and cheery and another day I'm just the opposite and that's where my coworker Marco (one of the cookers) would say to me, "Why aren't you smiling?" Anywho, I'm improving with the cash register. I even had one time *finally* where I had no voids and the cash was just perfect. I know it sounds a bit retarded being all happy about something so little, but to me it's something big. You see, usually I would have like lots of voids, up to like 50. Something that we cashiers have to keep a minimum. The other cashiers are like close to perfect with theirs. Taken that they have been working at Panda for like years and I for only a couple of months, I want to be as good as them. Then again, I also need to improve with my scooping. I have such a hard time with it. I really don't know why. Maybe it's because I have a slow nature? But that can't be since I'm a lot faster on the cash register, pressing buttons (haha). Okay just whatever already. Panda Express is like working at any other fast food place. Instead of asking "do you want fries with that?" we ask, "do you want an eggroll with that?" funny huh?

Well enough for now. I'll write back later. I've got to get ready for work.

something i got out of the psych book that might help you:

Are You Sleep Deprived?
Cornell University psychologist James Maas reports that most college students suffer the consequences of sleeping less than they should. To see if you are in that group, answer the folowing true-false questions.

  1. I need an alarm clock in order to wake up at the appropriate time.

  2. It's a struggle for me to get out of ben in the morning.

  3. Weekday mornings I hit the snooze bar several times to get more sleep.

  4. I feel tired, irritable, and stressed out during the week.

  5. I have trouble concentrating and remembering.

  6. I feel slow with critical thinking, problem solving, and being creative.

  7. I often fall asleep watching TV.

  8. I often fall asleep in boring meetings or lectures or in warm rooms.

  9. I often fall asleep after heavy meals or after a low dose of alcohol.

  10. I often fall asleep while relaxing after dinner.

  11. I often fall asleep within five minutes of getting into bed.

  12. I often feel drowsy while driving.

  13. I often sleep extra hours on weekend mornings.

  14. I often need a nap to get through the day.

  15. I have dark circles around my eyes.

If you answered "true" to three or more of the questions, you probably are not getting enough sleep. To determine your sleep needs, Maas recommends that you "go to bed 15 minutes earlier than usual every night for the next week-0and continue this practice by adding 15 more minutes each week--until you wake without an alarm clock and feel alert all day."

----------------

Well that's it for this morning. I've got to get ready for work. Toodles everyone! Have a nice day

Don't you just hate it when you can't chew due to a toothache? Eh. My right side is hurting and that is my chewing side and so now I have to chew on my left. It's not going to well. I can't enjoy food

So de ja vu's are actually just mere coincidence.
We dream at least once every night. It just happens that we don't remember them.
The best hours of our sleep is during 2am and 5am.
Sleep interruptions during those hours are dangerous.
The best way to cure insomnia is to drink MILK.

-------

To relieve severe asthma, one doctor had directed his patient that she should plant marijuana and use the leaves for tea. One day, the old lady (the patient) saw cops busting one of her neighbors because of marijuana. In fright, she went outside and burned her marijuana trees.
